Hi, and welcome to Thunderdome Strength and Conditioning. Thank you for stopping by. Let me introduce myself. My name is Ray Dunn and I am the Owner/Operator of Thunderdome Strength and Conditioning. I have been involved in the fitness business for over 30 years, and my passion has turned into a personal training career that I thoroughly enjoy. My clients have become friends that I am surrounded by every day. I am

lucky to have that kind of workday. Covid-19 has affected us all in some way.

For me, it closed Berkshire Nautilus on March 17th. Berkshire Nautilus has been

my home base for the last 20 years. Those first couple weeks were very tough, and like many of us, I had to figure out a way to keep working. While I took on some part time jobs, my passion for helping people was driving me to get back to what I loved. So, I

worked on continued education for training, and started seeing my clients at local running tracks. The fresh air and sun felt great. They seemed happy about getting some full body workouts in, especially during these trying times. Other clients performed

online workouts, and I started feeling like my own self, getting stuff “Dunn”. With the support of clients and friends, I decided to incorporate my business, and Thunderdome Strength and Conditioning was born. Ever since the “Avengers”, I have been telling my daughter that I am a superhero, and they call me “Thunder”. She does not see it. I’m kind of short! When I teach indoor cycling classes, I am told I’m a bit loud. I love AC/DC and their music is always cranking in my class, so “Thunder” definitely fits.

While in High School my mother told me to play sports as hard as I could, but to behave off the sports field. Since then, I always saw fitness and sports as an arena where I could let loose. The Thunderdome is a state of mind to let loose and train. I am very excited about the future. I will use all my energy, experience, and knowledge to help you with all your fitness goals. We will work together to meet and exceed them. Remember, today is the first day of the rest of your life. Get it “Dunn” with Thunderdome Strength and Conditioning!
